Hurricane Ivan from the ISS

As Hurricane Ivan's sustained 200 kilometer per hour winds wreaked havoc in the Caribbean, the swirling eye of the hurricane was photographed on September 11, 2004 from aboard the orbiting International Space Station (ISS) at an altitude of about 230 miles. Photo by science officer and flight engineer Edward Fincke.
